How do I know what size hockey skates to order?
Hockey skates typically run 1 to 1.5 sizes smaller than your standard shoe size. We recommend consulting our detailed size chart and measuring your foot length in centimeters for the most accurate fit.
What is your return policy on used equipment?
For safety and hygiene reasons, we can only accept returns on unused equipment in its original packaging. However, if a product has a manufacturing defect, it is covered under our 30-day warranty.
Do you offer stick blade curving or custom services?
We carry a wide variety of standard blade patterns (P92, P28, etc.). While we do not offer custom molding, our team can help you select the curve that best suits your playing style.
How long does shipping take within North America?
Standard shipping typically takes 3-5 business days. We also offer expedited 2-day shipping for players who need their gear before their next big game.
Can I get my skates sharpened before they are shipped?
Yes! We offer a professional sharpening service for an additional fee. Simply select your preferred hollow (e.g., 1/2" or 5/8") on the product page before adding the skates to your cart.
Are your helmets HECC and CSA certified?
Yes, all hockey helmets sold at Hockey Gear meet the safety standards required by HECC, CSA, and CE to ensure maximum protection on the ice.
